Meola Interiors creates sculptural furniture rooted in Italian artisanal craftsmanship and defined by the natural movement of burl wood.
Each piece is developed with skilled artisans in Southern Italy, where proportion, balance and material integrity guide the design. Subtle Art Deco influences appear in the structure of our forms, yet our collections remain fluid rather than fixed to one aesthetic.
We are continually drawn to olive burl for its depth and quiet sheen. Its grain shifts with the light and commands attention within a room. Natural variation and handmade irregularities ensure every piece is one of a kind.
We work with private clients, interior designers, curators and collectors to create bespoke and limited pieces for residential and public spaces.
Furniture shaped by heritage. Defined by material. Designed to endure.

[ Our Process ]
Each piece begins with a handcrafted hardwood foundation, built by skilled artisans in our Southern Italy studio. Carefully selected olive burl is then cut, matched, and laid by hand, with every section positioned to highlight the wood's natural movement and character.
Once assembled, the piece is meticulously sanded and refined before undergoing multiple stages of hand-finishing and polishing. This process enhances the depth, richness, and beauty of the olive burl while creating a durable surface designed to last for generations.
Because every olive burl is naturally unique, no two pieces are ever the same, making each creation truly one of a kind.
